Woke up, made myself a cup of coffee, drank half of it, began with Ab Ripper X. After yoga last night my hip flexors and thighs were shot, which made many of the crunches excruciatingly hard. But doing it first thing meant I powered through much more than I did last time. I think I'm going to do it first from now on.
But that also meant I was already feeling blasted by the time I started Legs and Back. Guys, longest hour ever. Though I did really well with the pull ups: busted out 8 straight pull ups the first time out, and did pretty consistently well throughout.
By the time there were 18 minutes left to go, however, I was feeling wiped. Powered through, but man, tough.
Weighed myself and took a body fat measure before breakfast and after a piss. Weight has gone down, body fat gone up. Not a good thing. I think that may be another indication I should up my carb intake.
Sp had a bowl of granola with almond milk and a banana for breakfast. Going to have a mega-shake in an hour or so. Man, Kempo X tomorrow, and that's the end of week # 1. Only 11 more weeks to go.

Weird, my body fat went up yesterday when I checked. I fell off the wagon last night though, had three vodka tonics at happy hour. Feeling it today though, no more of that for me.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm planning on grabbing some oysters and a beer with Grace after work to celebrate her last day at her old job. Maybe I should grab a glass of wine? Happy hour = danger!
