Woke up at 7am, sleepy and yawning, and stumbled into the living room to throw myself headfirst into the In-Sink-Erator that is Ab Ripper X. Good lord, what an awful way to start your day. Though I'm noticing a little improvement. However, that little improvement in the beginning makes the rest of the workout even harder.
Legs and back was great today. Really getting better at the pull-ups in all their variety. I forget now, but I think I did some 10 pull-ups the first time, and then consistently bust out about 7 or so for all the subsequent exercises, except for the last couple where I did 10 with the aid of a chair. Still, excellent work.
Yesterday's Yoga class was also amazing. Ulla, the yoga teacher, blows me away with her ability to keep you moving for 2 hours straight, always moving and never quite killing yourself, but stoking that inner fire so that by the time you're done you are literally DRENCHED in sweat. No joke diet coke, I was dripping sweat off my hair and nose and chin. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
So today I feel great (just had lunch with a friend at a new place in Brickell called Suviche which is at half price till tomorrow, 10pm), and ate a slew of sushi, tuna tataki, ceviche and grilled beef. Delicious. Going to make a smoothie soon.
Onwards, and upwards!
